We’re thrilled to be featured in The Good Food Guide and ranked 5th place among the 100 Best Pubs in Britain — and we think that’s worth celebrating!

Join us for a special celebratory set lunch menu this November, showcasing some of our all-time favourite dishes, crafted to highlight what we do best, offered at exceptional value.

To raise a glass with us, simply quote “Good Food” when booking and enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz or soft drink on arrival.

Christmas Wreath Making

We’re delighted to welcome Louise from East Kent Flower Company back this November for one of our favourite festive traditions of the season.

On Tues 25th Nov 2025, join us for a cosy evening of creativity upstairs on The Landing or Balcony Room as Louise guides you step by step to make your own door wreath using fresh foliage, moss, and seasonal decorations. No experience is needed, and everyone goes home with a wreath to be proud of.

£75 per person including a glass of mulled wine or fizz and festive nibbles on arrival, with all tools and materials provided. Please note, age 18+ only.

The Hideaway

Tucked behind a secret door and accessed only via a spy hole, The Hideaway is a private speakeasy-style space – perfect for intimate gatherings, casual drinks, or cosy food events. Hidden away from the main bar, it offers a unique and atmospheric setting for up to 10 guests.

Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a space of your own, The Hideaway promises privacy, character, and a touch of mystery.

The Landing

Our stunning area upstairs, showcasing some truly incredible artwork. We have teamed up with Eddie Lock Gallery, displaying artists such as Banksy, The Connor Brothers, Goldie and Jamie Reid, famous for his brilliant pop artwork with The Sex Pistols.

Ideal for larger tables or drinks Parties.

Capacity - 35 seated / 60 standing

The Balcony Room

An intimate and bright space upstairs looking over the beautiful courtyard. Perfect for smaller gatherings or a private meeting room space with wall mounted TV and wifi.

The Balcony Meeting Room Hire Fee - £250 per day or £40 per hour. Includes use of the space from 9am to 5pm and includes mineral water plus morning and afternoon tea/coffee. (Lunch can be organised at an extra charge using either the main pub menu of one of our private hire menus)
